What is an Eyebrow lift?
An Eyebrow lift (brow lift, brow flick, Nike tick, brow levelling) is an advanced non surgical cosmetic procedure that raises the position and/or perspective of the eyebrow relative to the eye and forehead. Treatments can be performed with PDO (polydioxanone) threads, BOTOX® or dermal fillers.
Eyebrow lift treatments can produce some highly creative results including raised brows where both brows are raised at either end, at the arch or along the full length, eyebrow levelling to raise the height of one brow level with that of the other, eyebrow arching to raise the centre of the brow, forming an arch, and the eyebrow flick/Nike tick where the outer edge of the brow is raised to straighten the brow.

Are eyebrow lifts performed with BOTOX ® dermal fillers or PDO threads?
An eyebrow lift is most commonly performed with BOTOX ® or other botulinum toxin type A injections, but sometimes with dermal fillers too. Either treatment option may give a subtle lift. More experienced medical practitioners may also offer a PDO thread eyebrow lift to provide a subtle to moderate elevation of the eyebrow perspective.
How long does an eyebow lift treatment take?
The brow lift is a relatively quick and painless procedure. The treatment itself take around 15 minutes when performed by a safe and experienced medical practitioner. However, we allow up to 1 hour for both consultation and procedure.
Are eyebrow lift treatments painful?
Eyebrow lift treatments are performed using a very fine needle and are relatively painless. Topical anaesthesia can also be applied where appropriate to further reduce discomfort.
How long do eyebrow lift treatments last?
A cosmetic eyebrow lift treatment may last from 3 to 6 months. However, the exact duration will depend on several factors: the exact treatment being performed, the product in use, and a range of biological factors such as age, metabolism, well being, diet, lifestyle, etc. For these reasons longevity cannot be guaranteed.
How will the results look?
There is great scope for creativity with this advanced cosmetic treatment technique. Eyebrows can be manipulated in many different ways. The results are incredibly subtle and natural looking. With the localised muscle relaxation technique the brow sits in position according to the chosen treatment technique.
Is an eyebrow lift the same as an eyelid lift?
An eyebrow lift is a completely different treatment to an eyelid lift/tightening. A non surgical eyebrow lift maipulates the frontalis (forehead muscle) to achieve elevation. The frontalis muscle has no direct effect on the movement and appearance of the eyelids. Treatments for eyelids address skin tissue laxity rather than muscle groups. Both treatments are entirely independent of one another.
