How are PDO thread abdominal lifts performed?

PDO thread lift abdominal skin tightening treatments are performed under local anaesthetic. Fine polydioxanone threads are inserted into skin tissues just beneath the surface and are guided into place by a fine cannula. PDO threads are inserted at intervals across the abdomen/stomach to give lift and/or contouring to the abdomen or lateral abdominal sides. The threads are manipulated to give the required tissue lift and to suspend tissues using acupuncture like techniques. The cannula is removed leaving the threads in place.
