How are PDO thread neck lifts performed?

Neck lift treatments are performed under local anaesthetic. Fine polydioxanone threads are inserted into skin tissues just beneath the surface at the side of the neck. The PDO threads follow the natural contours of the neck and are guided into place by a fine cannula. The threads are manipulated to give the required tissue lift and to aid skin tightening. When the cannula is removed the threads remain in place, suspending the neck tissues.
